Delivery is calculated and based on three factors:

• The distance of your delivery address from our Noosaville Factory.

• The time it will take to load your order at our factory and unload your order at your delivery address.

• Whether or not you will assist with unloading the order at your end, or if Gull Design will be required to send two delivery staff.

UNLOADING

• Unless specifically requested, only one Gull Design staff member will deliver your order. It is expected that at least one able-bodied person will be at the delivery address, to assist with the unloading of your order from our vehicle.

• If you will not have at least one person able to assist with the unloading at your delivery address, Gull Design can provide an additional staff member at an additional cost. This must be requested prior to your delivery being scheduled. Late requests may delay your delivery.

• Where no one is at your delivery address to assist with the unloading and we were not advised of this in advance, we will need to make arrangements for a second person to assist and additional charges will apply.

• Items will be stacked individually in our Van and wrapped in our reusable packing material for protection while travelling. On arrival, items will be unwrapped, unloaded, and stacked at your delivery address individually, we are required to keep our packing material. If you require your items to be wrapped at your end, you will need to supply ample packing material. Items are not boxed up or individually wrapped.

• Our delivery service includes unloading to a ground floor location, no more than 25 meters from the location where we can safely and legally park our vehicle. If you require unloading to another level of a building or a further distance from where we can safely and legally park our vehicle, please provide us with the details and we will be happy to provide a custom quote.

DELIVERY TIME

We will provide you with an approximate delivery time window, we will call you 30 minutes prior to arrival, on the phone number you provided at the time of ordering. We ask that you have someone at your delivery address, ready to receive your delivery when we arrive. If our delivery driver is required to wait for longer than 15 minutes before they can start to unload your order, additional charges may apply.

Your Flatpack order can be packaged into one or more custom-made timber boxes and sent via courier to either The Courier’s nearest depot or direct to your address.

• The box/s made for your Flatpack order is custom-made at our factory and vary in size depending on the number of and size of the panels ordered by you.

• The boxes can be very large and usually require a forklift or trolley lift to move.

• As the size and weight of the boxes are not known until we receive your order, we are required to obtain a custom quote from our freight provider for each individual order.

• In addition to the fee for the Courier, we will also be required to charge a fee for the custom timber box/s, this is approximately $200 for the first box and $150 for each additional box as required.

You will have two options for delivery via Courier, you can choose to collect the order from the closet depot the courier has to your address, which is a cheaper option than having the courier deliver the entire order to your address, as the second option often requires the courier to utilise a truck with a forklift or Pallet Jack on board.
